Whether you are an agricultural producer looking to reduce erosion on your fields, or an urban gardener with questions about native plants, our goal is to provide the information and assistance you need!

The Benton SWCD was established in 1945.  The District works with a variety of agencies, organizations and community groups.  It is a joint effort, and all of us work together to make conservation programs work for the citizens of Iowa.

The District Commissioners, and staff are here to help the citizens of Benton County preserve and protect our soil and water resources.
